Boarding Information

To ensure a space for your pet, a reservation must be made by phone. At the time you make your reservation, a confirmation number will be given to you. Please use this number on the Pre-Check-In form. During holidays and the summer, reservations should be made several months in advance to assure the desired dates. In order to better serve our clients, (WE HAVE A 96 HOUR POLICY… WHEN YOU MAKE A RESERVATION A CREDIT CARD NUMBER WILL BE NEEDED IN ORDER TO HOLD THE SPOT. IF YOU DO NOT CANCEL WITHIN 96 HOURS OF ARRIVAL DATE OR DO NOT SHOW, THERE IS A $25.00 FEE) please give at least a week’s notice should you need to cancel.

Payment in full is expected when services are rendered. We accept cash, personal checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

For all boarding reservations, we require a credit card number or a $25.00 cash deposit to secure all reservations. In the event that you cancel your reservation, without the required 96-hour prior to the scheduled arrival date notice, your credit card will be charged a $25.00 cancellation/no-show fee. All reservations will be given a confirmation number and all cancellations will be given a cancellation number.

 

We require all reservations to be made prior to any animals being dropped off. Please call anytime during our business hours to make a reservation or to check availability.

 

If your pet has not been seen here before, or if you go elsewhere for vaccinations, we do require you to provide us with the current vaccination records prior to the arrival date. For dogs, we require Distemper, Bordatella, and Rabies. For cats we require Distemper, Leukemia and Rabies.

 

Please bring all medications in their original container. We will record all instructions at the time of drop off.

Feel free to bring any toys, treats or personal items for your pet to make his/her stay more comfortable. Do make sure we record all your belongings at the time of drop off. We supply a doggie bed to all of our guests.

We strive to provide the best care and compassion for your pets. If at any time we have the need for special or emergency treatments while your pet is boarding with us, we will first attempt to make contact with your emergency number to inform them of the situation. If your pet gets ill while here and it is not an emergency our veterinary staff will treat medically to keep him/her comfortable. You will  have the opportunity to agree or disagree to this at the time of drop off. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding of our policies to provide a fair and timely service to all.

If you would like to expedite the check in process, please fill out the pre-check in form that is downloadable and give it to the receptionist upon you arrival. You may also fax this in advance to expedite your check-in .There will be a boarding agreement for you to sign at the time of check-in. During busy times (summer months and holidays) we recommend that you make grooming or bathing appointments well in advance since these services do book well in advance. 

We appreciate your business and hope your pet has a wonderful time in our “hotel”.

There will be an additional $6.35 charge to the basic boarding rate on the day of all nationally honored holidays.

Amenities For Your Pet

The Inn – The best place to stay when they can’t stay at home.
Our modern clean facility offers indoor-outdoor runs in a climate controlled environment, all under roof. The suites are brightly painted and skylights provide natural lighting. The simulated park area gives the feeling of outdoors with many plants and trees.

  • Each pet has 4ft. X 4ft. individual indoor suite with an adjoining patio area of 4ft. X 12ft. 

  • The indoor suites and patio areas are cleaned as needed  and disinfected routinely.

  • Daily charts are kept on each pet’s consumption, elimination, and medication for those who need it.

These are short trips outside to relieve themselves in our fenced in yard.

  • Edible Bones or Frosty Paws
  • VCA feeds both in the morning and in the evening. We feed Science Diet to our dogs and cats. Any special medication needed by your pet is administered at a minimal charge.

For those pet owners who want additional scheduled personal attention for their pet, while boarding, we offer TLC’s. This is a special time to be exercised, walked combed a little or just held and hugged. We have a dedicated staff of experienced pet owners and pet lovers who enjoy making your pet’s stay relaxing.

Providing the royal treatment cats so richly deserve!

  • VCA offers a separate spacious cattery for the comfort of your cat. The cattery is arranged in a living room setting.

  • Our unique cat suites allow clients the opportunity to reserve adjoining suites for additional space for families with more than one cat. 

  • Pet owners with more than one cat are able to reserve adjoining suites for additional space.
